              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Internet representa una herramienta con un potencial educativo sin precedentes, pero para que sea aprovechada es necesario comprender la relación entre las características de sus textos y los recursos del lector al aprender. La investigación ha identificado que los lectores en Internet necesitan dos tipos de conocimientos: los relacionados con el tema sobre el que están leyendo y los relacionados al uso de Internet; se ha analizado cómo éstos se distinguen y entran en juego. Igualmente se plantea que el lector emplea dos tipos de estrategias: las usadas en el texto impreso que se adaptan al texto de Internet y las que son específicas al texto de Internet. Un aspecto que continúa siendo controversial es la relación entre estrategias y conocimientos previos.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;En el presente trabajo se realiza una revisión del concepto de Entorno Personal de Aprendizaje (EPA), de los escenarios en los que se han utilizado, de las principales problemáticas y hallazgos. Se revisan los estudios sobre aprendizaje autorregulado y EPA, así como los estudios sobre creencias epistemológicas y el aprendizaje en internet para proponerlos como variables individuales relacionadas con la construcción y uso de un EPA. Posteriormente se realiza una propuesta sobre las actividades a fomentar al utilizar en este tipo de entornos, las cuales se deben tomar en cuenta para el desarrollo de situaciones instruccionales.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;En la literatura se han encontrado funciones principales a realizar en un Entorno Personal de Aprendizaje (PLE): agregar, relacionar, crear, compartir y organizarse. En el presente trabajo se describen los principios instruccionales y la implementación de un taller en línea sobre PLE dirigido a estudiantes universitarios. Se encontró que los principios de diseño instruccional utilizados probaron ser eficaces en el diseño del taller. Además los participantes lograron construir su PLE, modificándolo de manera continua y autónoma, así mismo, los PLE de los participantes cumplieron con las funciones generales, haciendo énfasis en agregar y compartir información sobre sus proyectos académicos.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Personal Learning Environment (PLE) is the set of tools, information sources, connections and activities that each person uses assiduously to learn. There are some elements to be considered in order to make a better explanation about what a PLE is, although they are not the same elements in every definition, here we’re presenting those elements common to all definitions reviewed in the literature: Learning mediated by interaction; Active role of learner; Multiplicity of content; Diversity activities; Accessibility and ubiquity of web tools; and Ownership of web tools.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
This difference of elements has also generated different ways of assess a PLE, therefore this study aims to unify theory and best practices of expert judges. In order to design a rubric for evaluating a Personal Learning Environment, five interviews with experts PLE users were made it, the elements mentioned before were considered in the interviews. Participants were selected because of their use of Internet tools, frequency of use and related to everyday work activities through internet, which in every case was at high level of use and expertise. Semi-structured protocol of interview was used and supported by audio recording.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
We interviewed each expert in their workplace following the format of semi-structured interviews in which they were asked to show how they used Internet tools for learning purpose. Each of them was detailing the tools and their use. Interviews were transcript. From the content analysis categories and evaluation criteria were created, and the rubric items were designed. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was obtained, four judges has been participated evaluating each of the items in the rubric, considering if the item in their opinion was: 1) Useful 2) Useful but not essential; or 3) it is not necessary.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The Content Validity Index (CVI) was calculated by averaging the scores resulting from all criteria in the section. Finally 13 criteria were considered to be part of the rubric.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The procedure proved to be robust to build and validate this instrument that will help evaluate a PLE and then to determine a level of development objectively for these environments, which can give rise to other quantitative analysis, as correlations and linear regressions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It was important to consider that studies show differences in the design of the learning situation, which can vary in relation to the way of using the PLE and, therefore, how to evaluate their use. Another aspect in the design of the rubric was trying to find out how each student create their own PLE, because this creation is unique for each student, but at least to propose a common starting point to assess this kind of internet environment for learning.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to provide information about how prior knowledge of Internet use is linked to the strategies reported in a reading task on the internet, the following research was conducted. 29 students in junior high school in Mexico City were selected based on their level of prior knowledge on how to use the internet for doing homework. Participants were asked to complete a reading task on the internet and their reading strategies were observed. Important discussion about the way reading strategies on the internet are being measured is relevant; also it has to be considered that prior knowledge about the use of the internet not necessary. Participants recover or retrieve when they working in the reading task on the internet in the same way, thus the preliminary results of this research allow us to think through the design of instruments in order to get more precise measures of prior knowledge before and during the reading task.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

              &lt;div class="field--item"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Los Entornos Personales de Aprendizaje (EPA) surgieron en internet a partir de la posibilidad de crear y consumir información, sin embargo, requiere que el aprendiz cuente con algunas habilidades necesarias para ser un usuario exitoso. En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados de un taller en línea para crear y construir un EPA que abarcó 10 semanas de trabajo y en el que participaron 41 estudiantes de la licenciatura en psicología en línea de la UNAM. El objetivo del taller consistió en que los participantes desarrollaran y utilizaran su EPA para realizar un proyecto o alcanzar un objetivo de aprendizaje. Los resultados muestran que mayoría de los participantes realizaron las actividades de agregar información, crearla y compartirla utilizando su EPA, así mismo, reportaron que su EPA les ayudó a buscar información, ahorrando tiempo, seleccionando mejor sus fuentes y a realizar su proyecto personal y sólo algunos realizaron la actividad de relacionar (reflexión) organizar su tiempo para alcanzar sus objetivos.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
